12/11/2003 (Agence Europe) - During the Italian Presidency of the Council of the EU, Carlo Azeglio Ciampi will visit the USA for the first time in his role of Italian Head of State. President Ciampi will be in the USA for a week where he is expected to meet President Bush and the Secretaries of State for Defence Powell and Cheney as well as the President of the FED, Alan Greenspan and the UN Secretary General Kofi Annan.
