ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) investments

- Poland: direct investment abroad in Poland since 1990 has reached an overall amount of USD 65 bn, indicates the polish government investment advisor PAIZ. The largest investor country is la France with USD 12.2 bn, in front of the USA (8.7 bn) and Germany (7.8 bn). The largest foreign investment last year was that of the Belgian KBC bank, which spent USD 442 million in buying out the Polish bank KREDYT BANK.
