European consumers have reasonable level of confidence in electronic payment transactions

Brussels, 18/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - European consumers have a "reasonable" level of confidence in electronic payment transactions, according to the results of a study undertaken for the European Commission, which were published by the latter on Thursday. . Finnish consumers show the highest level of confidence, followed by the Dutch and Swedish. Greek and Portuguese consumers are among the most distrustful of the Europeans interviewed in this study.
