18/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has authorised, according to accelerated procedure, the setting up of a joint company between Toshiba Corporation and Mitsubishi Electric Corp. It has been named Toshiba Mitsubishi Electric Industrial Systems Corp. the new company will take over the activities of the parent companies in the area of electric and automatic equipment in manufacturing industry.
