18/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - The president of the European Commission, Romano Prodi, is to open the first lesson of the Advanced Diploma in European Studies (ADES at the European College of Parma on Saturday 27 September. He will give an opening speech. The European College Parma is a higher education institution which provides academic training for young European graduates in the field of European Union law, economics and politics. Training provided is geared to preparing students for careers in EU, national and local institutions, professional associations, the corporate world and private practice. The academic staff of the ADES is formed by senior EU officials, university professors and experts in EU issues.
