Luxembourg, 18/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - The EU's Court of First Instance has cancelled the decision taken by the Committee of the Regions on 13 June 2000 to appoint Vincenzo Falcone to the post of Secretary General for the Committee. An unlucky candidate to the post, Spyridon de Athanassios Pappos, had challenged the appointment before the European judges.
