China-EU co-operation agreement initialled on Thursday in Beijing

Brussels, 18/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - As previously announced, the European Commission and China initialled an agreement in Beijing on Thursday on China's co-operation in the European Galileo global satellite navigation system (EUROPE of 17 September, p.6). The agreement was initialled for Europe by the Director General of Energy and Transport, François Lamoureux, and for China by the Secretary General of the Ministry for Science and Technology, Shi Dinghuan.
