Berlusconi meets Erdogan - Italian prime ministers supports Turkey's bid to join EU

Brussels, 09/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - Following the visit by Turkish prime minister Recept Tayyip Erdogan to Italy, the Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi is supporting Turkey's bid to join the European Union. Berlusconi said he would "always" support Turkey's bid, since Turkey is "a member of the team".
