Brussels, 09/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday, ahead of the opening of the Cancun Summit where the issue of cotton has been added to the agenda of the World Trade Organisation ministerial meeting to the delight of some and the embarrassment of others, the European Union officially stated: "The EU sympathises with concerns about the low cotton prices, and their impact on developing countries".
