Go-ahead to signature, on 25 June, of extradition and judicial cooperation agreements between the EU and the United States

Luxembourg, 06/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - Less than one year after having opened negotiations, the European Union and the United States are expected to sign their judicial cooperation and extradition agreements on 25 June, on the occasion of the EU-US Summit in Washington. The EU15 Justice Ministers gave their go-ahead to signature of the agreement on Friday. These agreements will be a framework for extradition and facilitate judicial cooperation at a practical level (EUROPE of 10 May, p.11...
