Messrs Prodi and Schröder discuss Lisbon process - investments in trans-European networks and research

Brussels, 06/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - During his visit to Berlin on Thursday, Romano Prodi had a working dinner with Chancellor Schröder, with whom he discussed, amongst other things, the Lisbon process and the opportunity to re-launch investment in the trans-European networks for transport, research and development. The Commission, which has discussed these issues with the EIB President, Philippe Maystadt, is to make a proposal on this in the autumn. Mr Prodi also met former Chancellor...
