Joint Commission - Inter-American Development Bank campaign for a fairer society in Latin America

Brussels, 06/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) organised a seminary on 5-6 June in Brussels on "building more cohesive societies in Latin America and the Caribbean". In order to raise general awareness among governments, international financial institutions and donors on the urgent need to combat social inequity, poverty and exclusion in these countries.
