Council agrees to make rules for attributing slots more flexible after air sector difficulties due to Iraq and SARS

Luxembourg, 06/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - The Transport Council has reached an agreement for greater flexibility in the rules for attributing time slots for take-off and landing in airports in order to be able to take account of the difficulties encountered between March and October 2003 by air companies due to the war in Iraq and the epidemic of the severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS).
