Parliament postpones adoption of report on reforming EU officials' terms and conditions

Brussels, 31/03/2003 (Agence Europe) - In order to get the Commission to agree to some of the EP's amendments and to ensure room for manoeuvre to be able to react to progress in its negotiations with the Council, the European Parliament decided on Thursday, as expected, to postpone adoption of the resolution from the report by Malcolm Harbour (UK Conservative) and Manuel Medina Ortega (Spanish Socialist) on reforming the terms and conditions of EU officials (see EUROPE of 21 March, p.13)....
