ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) automobile

The Italian group FIAT, in serious financial difficulties, is in advanced talks to sell its robotics division COMAU this year still, as well as the Brazilian activities of its consumer financial services subsidiary, FIDIS. Three groups are already interested in COMAU, worth an estimated 700 million euro. The Brazilian activities are valued at over 100 million euro.
