The IBM group is to acquire EADS MATRA DATAVISION, a fully-owned subsidiary of the EADS aeronautics and defence group, for the sum of around EUR 30 million. EADS MATRA DATAVISION (turnover EUR 101.4 million in 2001) employs 900 engineers and consultants and is specialised in computer assisted manufacture and design software.
