Three decisions on GMOs released into the environment

Brussels, 08/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - The Council adopted without debate three decisions which will facilitate the implementation by Member States of the Directive on procedures for the authorisation to market and to deliberately release genetically modified organisms into the environment (Directive 2001/18/EC of 12 March 2001 which repealed Directive 90/220/EEC).
