Italy will support efforts of Spanish Presidency to move forward with liberalisation of gas and electricity markets

Brussels, 24/01/2002 (Agence Europe) - Italy will be supporting the efforts deployed by the Spanish Presidency to move forward on the issue of liberalisation of the gas and electricity markets, an issue blocked by France. This was announced on Tuesday, by Italian Finance Minister Giulio Tremonti, on the sidelines of the Ecofin Council.
