24/01/2002 (Agence Europe) - The EU Council of Ministers voted, on Tuesday, against the European Commission's proposal of setting maximum limits on residues (in food of animal origin) of norgestromet and progesterone, two steroid hormones used in veterinary medicines, following a negative opinion by the Standing Committee for Veterinary Medicines.
