24/01/2002 (Agence Europe) - Javier Solana began his visit to the Balkans late Thursday afternoon with a meeting in Skopje with the Macedonian President and Prime Minister, as well as the leaders of the main political parties. The EU's High Representative for External Policy will continue his trip by going to Pristina Friday morning and on to Belgrade in the afternoon.
