Strasbourg, 06/09/2001 (Agence Europe) - With the adoption, on Thursday, of the report by Teresa Almeida Garrett (EPP/ED, Portugal), the European Parliament proposes to amend Article 3 of the statute of European Ombudsman in order to allow the Ombudsman to: 1) inspect and reproduce any document and 2) have access to all classified documents.
