ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) energy

Following an offer to tender launched by ENDESA, three candidates remain in the running for the take-over of VIESGO, a Spanish subsidiary of the Spanish electricity production company, HIDROCANTABRICO, the state enterprise ENEL and the Belgian company TRACEBEL (SUEZ group). ENDESA has granted these groups until 15 September to improve their respective offers.
