Brussels, 06/09/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Union and China gave the kick-off, on Wednesday, for strengthening their relations and bilateral cooperation in every field. They mainly agreed to intensify their contacts at every level and to extend the precious political dialogue to regional and international security issues (including non-proliferation, disarmament and arms control), in the hope of resulting in a "global partnership" in time.
