Denis Bourgeois, ex Managing Director of CALMANN-LEVY has taken majority control of the BALLAND publishing company (8.5 million FF turnover in 2000) for an undisclosed amount. The operation will create a new company called SOCIETE NOUVELLE DES EDITIONS BALLAND in which Denis Bourgeois will hold an 80% stake. The remaining 20% will be held by Jean-Jacques Augier, who formerly held 100% of the capital.
