06/09/2001 (Agence Europe) - After negotiations over a statement on the Middle-East at the Durban Conference on Racism from Wednesday evening to Thursday morning between Europeans, Africans and Arabs (see yesterday's EUROPE, p.6) broke down, South Africa presented a new document on Thursday in order to prevent the EU from withdrawing from the Conference.
