06/09/2001 (Agence Europe) - With the adoption of the report by Johannes Blokland (EDD, NL), the EP approved with some amendments, in first reading (codecision), the amended proposal of regulation relating to statistics on waste. The amendments mainly aim to guarantee the comparability of data and specify a certain number of definitions.
