ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) wine

Spain's wine company FREIXENET has announced the takeover of France's YVON MAU for 3.875 billion pesetas. The acquisition will make FREIXENET one of the world's ten biggest wine companies with a turnover of over 65 billion pesetas in 2000 (85 billion next year) and a workforce of 1500.
