He IMF has estimated German economic growth at 0.9%

Brussels, 06/09/2001 (Agence Europe) - The International monetary Fund (IMF) has predicted a 0.9% increase in economic growth in Germany. According to an article published in the Financial Times on Thursday, this prediction contradicts previous official estimates of 1.9%. This is the most pessimistic forecast ever made for the "powerhouse" of the Eurozone. The IMF has forecast economic growth of 1.9% for the Eurozone as a whole for 2001, as opposed to a previous forecast of 2.4%. These new...
