ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) internet

The French operator 9 TELECOM (expected turnover in 2000 of 100 million euro, with 700,000 clients), 93.99% subsidiary of TELECOM ITALIA, has made a friendly bid for JET MULTIMEDIA (73.1 million euro turnover in 1999). The bid stands at 83 euro a share, valuing the French on-line services operator at 887 million euro.
