Britain's KINGFISHER is to split its general shop activities ("Woolworth" and "Superdrug") from those of DIY shops ("B AND Q", "Castorama") and electrical household goods ("Darty", "Comet", "ProMarkt", "But") that will be quoted on the stock market separately.
