Joint-venture between Telia and Oracle cleared

Brussels, 13/09/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has approved a joint-venture in the Internet sector between Telia and Oracle Corp. Called Drutt, the new entity will create a web-site (halebopp.com) specifically targeted at mobile phone users who will be able to tap into the site either through Wireless Application Protocol digital mobile phones (WAP) or second generation digital mobile phones.
