According to The Financial Times, the German-American manufacturer DAIMLERCHRYSLER is planning the acquisition of all of MMC - MITSUBISHI MOTORS in order to accelerate the retructuring of the Nippon maker in difficulties. We recall that DAIMLERCHRYSLER had announced he would only pay 202.4 billion yens to acquire 34% of MMC capital, that is, 10% less than that envisaged in the alliance agreement concluded in March between the two groups.
