ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) telecommunications

WIND (Italian group ENEL and French group FRANCE TELECOM) announced that its subsidiary was in exclusive talks with VODAFONE for the acquisition of 100% of the Italian operator INFOSTRADA. The offer would total EUR 11.5 billion is also sought by the Italian ALBACOM which offered EUR 9 billion.
