ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) satellites

FRANCE TELECOM and the satellite operator EUROPE STAR have announced the creation of STELLAT, a joint venture that will be responsible for the launching, management and commercialisation of communications satellite representing an investment of EUR 250 million in the next two years. FRANCE TELECOM will hold 70% of this joint venture and EUROPE STAR the remaining 30%.
