Inquiry procedure opens against Italian aid to Iveco (lorries) of the Fiat group

Brussels, 20/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has opened a formal inquiry procedure in order to examine the compatibility of aid that the Italian authorities are proposing to grant to Iveco for a project implemented between 1994 and 1999. Iveco is a subsidiary of the Fiat group which designs, produces and sells light commercial vehicles, heavy goods vehicles, coaches and buses as well as diesel engines of the makes Iveco, Astra, Iveco-Ford Truch, Iveco Magirus and Iveco...
