ACP countries reject purely tariff formula, and especially Caribbean countries call for respect of traditional exports

Brussels, 20/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - Most banana supplier countries continue to prefer the traditional export formula (historic quotas) that the Union does however seem to have abandoned, in view of settling the dispute over bananas (see yesterday's EUROPE, pp.9/10).
