Commission launches pilot project to help schools in Serbian opposition municipalities

Brussels, 18/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has just approved the financing of a pilot project aiming to support democratic principals in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. This project totalling EUR 3.8 million is based on the relationships developed with seven of these municipalities in the framework of the "Energy for democracy" programme.
