18/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - The President of the Parliamentary Assembly, Lord Russell-Johnston, and Secretary General of the Council of Europe Walter Schwimmer condemned the assassination on Saturday in Malaga of José Maria Martin Carpena, Local Councillor of the People's Party. "We remind the assassins, who clothe as political demands acts that are but savage and barbarian, that European Democrats support them in no way".
