British insurance firm CGNU is to pay out £600 million for the acquisition of 50% of the insurance activities of RBSG - ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND GROUP. The British company will take on a 50% stake of RSA - ROYAL SCOTTISH ASSURANCE and of NWLA - NATIONAL WESTMINSTER LIFE ASSURANCE LTD.
