Commission frees up EUR 10 million for improvement of conditions for return of refugees in Croatia

Brussels, 18/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Commission decided to allocate EUR ten million for the improvement of conditions surrounding the return of refugees from Croatia. Taken for the 2000 budget for the OBNOVA project, this amount is aimed at the reconstruction of housing, the rehabilitation of public infrastructures, the establishing of conditions necessary for the economic development and de-mining there where it is needed.
