At meeting following Regional Donors' Conference, the Commission reassures its interlocutors that the EU will keep its promises

Brussels, 13/06/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has already approved 28 of the 53 projects for which it pledged support at the Regional Donors' Conference for the Balkans and nine of these projects have already been launched, declared the Director for the Balkans at the DG for External Relations, Mr Barbaso, at the second meeting of the Regional Table of the Stability Pact for the Balkans (held last week in Thessaloniki).
