ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) mines

SAMANCOR CHROME (joint subsidiary of the British mining groups BILLITON and ANGLO AMERICAN) and the Swiss group XSTRATA have formed, in South Africa, a new joint undertaking, held at 50/50, for the production of chrome (expected annual production 180,000 tonnes).
