06/06/2000 (Agence Europe) - John Corrie and Glenys Kinnock (President and Vice-President of the ACP/EU Assembly), as a result of an attempted coup d'etat, are blocked in the Solomon Islands, where they were on a fact-finding mission. "We told the Prime Minister that if he resigned under force, his country would lose its democratic status and Lomé Convention financing", said Mr Corrie.
