The Belgian group IBA -ION BEAM APPLICATIONS- will be buying the American company PTCA -PROTON THERAPY CORPORATION OF AMERICA-, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the hospital group TENET HEALTHCARE CORP (111 hospitals), specialised in proton therapy. The arrangements of the acquisition were not disclosed.
