06/06/2000 (Agence Europe) - "We did not agree to France being given fewer votes in the EU Council than Germany (…). We are discussing this and the Heads of State and Government must discuss it further", said Pierre Moscovici, French Minister for European Affairs, referring to the agreement between Paris and Berlin on the IGC, reported by Le Monde (see EUROPE of 3 June, p. 3).
