The Finnish operator SONERA in considering investing USD 200 million in two American companies. It wants, on the one hand, to increase its share in the mobile phone operator POWERTEL from 9.1 to 11.8%, for USD 125 million and, on the other hand, acquire 30.1% of ELISKA WIRELESS VENTURES for USD 75 million.
