Brussels, 27/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - Following an article in the Sunday Times, the Commission's Secretariat General has been instructed by President Prodi to ask for "explanations" of the former Commissioners Matin Bangemann, Padraig Flynn and Jacques Santer, the Commission said on Monday.
