The British insurance group CGU, which is merging with NORWICH (see EI of 21 and 22 February) has acquired 50% of the IQUO capital, a company specialised in the sale of insurance on the Internet, for an undisclosed amount. The acquisition comes with an option for the acquisition of the remainder of the company in four years' time. The CGO INSURANCE subsidiary and IQUO will work together to develop products that may be sold to CGU partners and to other insurance providers on the Internet.
