In favour of increased aid for Mozambique and Madagascar and cancellation of their debts

Abuja, 27/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Joint Assembly adopted two resolutions relating to the natural disasters that have just struck Mozambique and Madagascar. It expresses its solidarity with the population devastated by the storms and calls for sufficient aid to respond to their needs. It calls for this to be complemented by a total cancellation of of their bilateral and Community debts.
