The Thirteen candidate countries for accession negotiate their membership of European Environment Agency

Brussels, 27/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - In Brussels on Monday began negotiations in view of the participation of the thirteen candidate countries for accession (the ten countries of Central and Eastern Europe, as well as Cyprus, Malta and Turkey) in the European Environment Agency (EEA). The EEA, based in Copenhagen, is one of the eleven EU agencies.
